Schools Spectacular is an initiative of the NSW Department of Education and is a variety performance involving over 3800 public school students from all over the state. The 2016 performance was billed by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest amateur variety act in the world.

PRM’s role is to manage the wireless devices used by all the performers. While there are not as many frequencies under management as are often present on other events, the sheer number of devices in use at any one time and in a tight location is challenging! Making sure the correct performer is getting the correct device is half the challenge along with quick changeovers of segments throughout the program.

The performance is recorded and broadcast nationally each year.
