RF Spectrum and System Design Overview, and Policing

During the Opening Ceremony Peter’s role was consultative and focused on spectrum monitoring and coordinating the movement of the spectrum “Policing Teams” roaming the stadium. Bruce Jackson was the Audio Director, Norwest the Audio contractor, Steve Caldwell was responsible for the RF engineering and spectrum design. This was first international event Steve headed up, and he has gone on to do The London and Rio Olympic ceremonies and many others.

Just in case you were unsure… Doha is in a desert. They reckon the day of the opening ceremony was the wettest in 40 years. Regardless, the Wireless Audio performed impeccably.
