RF System Design and Spectrum Management
Thirty years experience in wireless microphone and in-ear monitoring system design, equipment selection, deployment, spectrum monitoring and policing in various combinations.
These events and many others have been as a contracted professional within his own business – Profiles Resource Management, and additionally with JPJ Audio (previously Jands Production Services), The P.A. People, Norwest Productions and many others.
PA System Design and Engineering
Over the years he has filled the role of PA System Engineer, Production Manager and other roles on many shows across a wide variety of event genres, from touring rock shows to large scale outdoor orchestral events, royal command performances, theatre, corporate, mega church events, and Papal masses.
In 1985-1987 whilst working at The P.A. People, they introduced a early concert scale line array system concept to Sydney’s Annual Domain Concert Series. These events attract 60,000-100,000 people, the series includes Channel 7’s ‘Carols in the Domain’, ‘Symphony Under the Stars’ and ‘Opera in the Park’.

Over the years Peter has been privileged to “present” on many topics ranging from PA design and specification, amplifier design, wireless audio and even lighting. he has presented in South Africa; Singapore; Hong Kong; China 1993 and 2007; UK; and of course numerous occasions in Australia.
Peter has written articles for Sonics Magazine & Channels (predecessor to CX Magazine)
Government and Regulatory Liaison Roles
Various interface roles with various governments, government departments, and government agencies in a number of countries.
Wireless spectrum management applications
EMC; SAR; electrical safety; noise pollution; and other issues.
Australian Wireless Audio Group – He was part of the AWAG the industry group that lobbied for wireless spectrum from the digital dividend, and interfaces with the Department DBCDE, the Regulator – ACMA, and the government and opposition ministers.
Successfully handled and passed several Australian Communications and Media Authority audits.
Engaged by The Australian Communications and Media Authority – Commonwealth Games – Melbourne 2006 – as Spectrum Manager for wireless audio at all the games venues plus opening and closing ceremonies.
Peter has served on the board of the Australian Commercial and Entertainment Technology Association (ACETA) – the peak industry body since 2018.
